Medical, agricultural and crop protection industry representatives have all slammed a report questioning the use of the popular herbicide glyphosate by local councils due to safety concerns. Mathew Cossey, chief executive of crop protection peak body CropLife, said there were other studies into glyphosate and human health, which found it was not a carcinogenic threat that were not mentioned in the article.
